The Water Diviner's Tale Boot Camp
17th Aug 07Today I covered the boot camp rehearsals for the new BBC commission of Rachel Portmans opera "The Water Diviner's Tale". With words by Owen Sheers this is a powerful work about the impact of climate change.
The sessions and performance are directed by Denni Sayers
and conducted by David Charles.
The boot camp is a two week residential affair for 40 children aged between 11 and 15. In the piece they play the lost children. They will walk out on stage at the Royal Albert Hall on August Bank Holiday.
